Mrs. Sylvester Gray went to Grand Ridge, Hl., today to see about ahving a monument erected at the graves of her parents who are buried there. Mrs. Delos Coen, of South Bend, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. H. M. Clark, near Wheatfield, is now visiting her parents, Mayor and Mrs. C. G. Spitler. ( The house warming at the beautiful residence of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Parker Friday evennig was a most enjoyable event. Something like seventy were present, including the out-of-town persons who are house party guests here this week. In addition to those whose names were mentioned in an earlier issue of The Republican from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wilson, of Hammond, and Bert Brenner, of Valparaiso.
