Were Low Bidders When the Contract Was Let For the Chris. Roush Road |in Carpenter.

There were six bidders present when the county commissioners this afternoon let the contract for the Chris. Roush road in Carpenter township. This is the first contract let in this county and probably one of the ’first in this part of the state under the new standard specifications. Thompson & Smith were the low bidders. Their bid was $11,531, which was about S9OO below the next lowest bidderiThe commissioners. are having a busy session and several bridge contracts are being sold this afternoon.
