The falling off of receipts of strong drink in the United States hs revealed by the statistics of the international revenue bureau is so striking that Commissioner of International Revenue W. H. Ogburn has assigned competent experts in his bureau to analyze the figures and make a report of their views as to the causes of the decrease.
