Christian Church Notes.

The services yesterday were well attended. The attendance at Bible school was 230. The junior department had the largest attendance in its history. Dr. Myer is the energetic superintendent. Rev. W. H. Thompson, brother of James Thompson, of this city, preached last evening. His sermon was interesting and helpful. He also sang a solo. He is assistant pastor of the First Baptist church, Lansing, Mich. There will be a meeting of all the young people of the congregation at 7 p. m. Wednesday night at the church. The pastor will preach a sermon next Sunday evening on Churchill’s “Inside of the Cup.” This is the greatest selling book on the market today. The ladies of the Junior Aid will give another cafeteria dinner on Friday at 5 p. m. Convention begins Wednesday evening.
