PARR.

Parr school will close in two weeks. There is talk of a new postoffice being built. Mrs. Augusta Dunn spent Sunday at Hammond. Perry Griffith spent a few days with his sisters in Chicago. Mrs. Harry Thomas is spending the week with friends in the city. J. A. Uuers and Abe Myres made a business trip to the river this week. Remember, the time of the milk train in the evening i 3 20 minutes earlier. oJe Ploughjeck and Abe Myres are going on a dredge some distance north near the Canada line. Mr. and Mrs. B. Sheffer got the sad news that their oldest son had accidentally wounded himself with a revolver. Mr. and Mrs. John Nowels, Mrs. C. Paxton and daughter, Mrs. Hoyts and daughter spent Wednesday with the Luers family. The Social dozen gave a big supper in honor of their secretary’s birth day April 12. It was a very pleasant surprise on Mrs. Griffith.
