Says Weather is Bad for Farming in South Dakota.

Bruce Porter, of near Mt. Vernon/ S. Dak., in renewing his subscription to The Semi-Weekly Republican, also ordered the paper sent for the ensuing year to his daughter, Mrs. Arthur G. Skjdmore, of Fenton, Mich. About South Dakota weather he wrote: “The weather here is very bad, but the snow is all gone except for drifts. Davison county, S. D., looked like old Jasper did forty years ago. It will be another week before we can begin seeding. All old Jasper folks well so far as I know.” 4/
