Dr. Paul C. Cumick, pastor of Trinity M .E. church, went to Indianapolis on the late train Sunday night to be at the federal court today, Monday, when sentence was passed by Judge Anderson on Donn Roberts and the other Terre Haute men convicted of election frauds. While pastor of the First Methodist church of Terre Haute Dr. Curnick was one of the leaders in the moral forces of the city and came face to face in conflict with Mayor Roberts and his iniquitous gang. He told Roberts one day that he would live to see him sentenced to serve a term in prison and in fulfillment of limit prophesy he went to Indianapolis to see him sentenced. He does not expect to return home until Wednesday, having some other business to look after.
