PRICK OF A BRIAR KILLS DAVID PEER
Walker Township Resident Dies in Hospital at South Bend From : - Attack of Blood Poisoning. David Peer, Sr., died Saturday afternoon in a hospital at South Bend, where he had been taken a few days before to be treated for blood poisoning, which had followed a very small scratch on his hand, caused by a prick from a briar. Mr. Peer was about 60 years of age and was the father of Volney M. Peer and of David Peer, Jr. He had for many years been a highly respected resident of Walker township and lived near Kndman. The body is to be shipped to Wheatfield, where the funeral is to be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
