The funeral of Mrs. Charles Summers will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Milroy church, being conducted by Rev. Mrs. Ed Ranton, Sr., who recently lost her husband by death, has gone to the home of her son, Eld Ranton, Jr., northwest of town, to remain for an indefinite time, closing her home on Front street. V , - Mrs. J. W. Smith and son, Floyd, will go to Chicago this evening to spend some two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weinman, close friends who were here to attend the funeral of Mr. Smith." Turfler while driving his auto Thursday morning struck Geo. M. Myers, manager of the telephone company, who was superintending some conduit cable installation at the Makeever hotel corner. Mr. Myers was knocked down and considerably bruised. He continued to work most of the day although he was quite a little injured. "
