Carmine Carbone, the boy who is accused with Frank Arbano with attempting to set off a bomb in St. Patricks chur-h in New York city, went on the witness stand Thursday in his own defense. Ills voice faltered as he accused Amedeo Polignani, the detective responsible for his arrest, with forcing him to take part in the crime, witn the threat of death if he did not do as bidden. He swore that Polignani had continually urged him to commit violence.
