Hebron High School Pupils Eloped to South Bend.
North Judson News. Donn Turner, age 17, and Miss Florence Humo, age 16, ran away from at Hebron last Saturday and went to South Bend, where they procured a marriage license and became man and wife. On their return home they stopped over night in North Judson, going on to Hebron next day. The youthful lovers attracted considerable attention at the picture show here Saturday night and finally became so embarassed that they left the house. Both are said to be students in the second year of the Hebron high school and both come from prominent and well-to-do families. They thought their elopement was a great joke and when asked as to what their parents would say to them when they got home, laughingly remarked, “We should worry.”
