Former Monon Lady Wrote Interesting Book on Boy Scouts.

Monon News. The News is in receipt of a book entitled “The Winning of the Bronze Cross,” written by Mrs. Clyde Tull. Ft is the story of a boy scout, who reached the goal of merit through many deeds of kindness and self sacrifice. While a tribute to the boy in his best estate, it abounds in incidents of thrilling moment, and may be perused with absorbing interest by all. The book has already reached a wide circulation in South Dakota, where the author is teaching English in the Weslyan University, and is highly extolled by the state press critics. The author being the wife of a Monon citizen, employed in the same university, should give the book local significance and prompt our people to read its pages.
