Must Pay the Tax Or Dispose of the Dogs. The assessors of Jasper county have authorized The Republican to state that all dog owners or harborers must pay the dog tax. All dogs on which the tax is not paid will be killed, the owners prosecuted, and to save trouble the only thing to do is to meet the assessors with the cash in your hand.
