Hillis and wife, of Oolfax township,.Newton county,«had the misfortune Tuesday of this week to lost their 6-monith-old baby. Cooper, of Monticello, both former school teachers here, also Mrs. Harry Lowe, of Monticello, came this morning to visit Mrs. Clara Andrus and others until Sunday evening. Paul Miller, who suffertd the fracture of the tibia bone at the ankle while playing basketball at St. Joseph’s college Friday night, was taken to the Makeever hotel, where he remained over night. Today he was removed to the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Honan where he will remain until he is able to go to his home in Indianapolis. Paul is a member of the 1914 graduating class from R. H.
