Lowell Meets Defeat At Hands of Bensselaer.

Lowell met defeat at the hands of the local basket tossers last night on the high school floor 31 to 19. The game was fast and interesting throughout, 'and both teams put up a clever exhibition of the indoor pasttime. _ Rensselaer took the teal when Casey got a hoop. Weaver scored by the foul route for the visitors and the scoring was frequent on both sides. Lowell forged to the front at one stage of the game but they were on the long end but for a very short time. Healy started the game at forward but When the visitors threatened', Eigelsbach went in at his regular place *and quickly took Rensselaer out of the danger zone. The first half ended , with the locals on top 21 to 8. Swaim and Hemphill put up the best game for Rensselaer. (Neither side scored fur sometime after the beginning of the second half. Weaver connected for the visitors and then scored again by the foul route. Eigeslbach scored for Rensselaer and English and Hemphill added to the home score. The visitors rallied and sent their score to the 15 mark, while Rensselaer sent theirs to 31. Lowell finished the scoring foF the evening with two more baskets, leaving the score 31 to 19 in favor of Rensselaer.
