Revival Meetings Attract Large Crowds to M. E. Church.

The. revival services at the Methodist church brought out large congregations at both services. The Sunday school had 324 in attendance. At the morning service Dr. Cu'rniek preached upon “The Need of a Revival” and Showed that the indifference toward spiritual things could only be overcome by a genuine revival of religion. (La the evening Dr. Ourntek peached on the “Power of the Gospel to Save from Sin,” and in a very earnest manner presented Christ as the only Saviour of the world. The congregation Was invited forward and piCyer was offered for the dhurch and the salvation of souls. An old-fashioned gospel song wa® sung and the congregation shook hands, many coming forward .to shake ‘hands with the pastor. Tonight (the revival meeting will be of great interest. The services wild begin at 7:30.
