Obituary of Mrs. David Shumaker.

Mrs. David Shumaker was born April 14th, 1873, in Jay county, Ind. She died January 18, 1915, aged 42 years 11 months and 15 days. She was united in marriage to David Shumaker of Jay county, Ind., on April 14th, 1891. To this uni n were born eight children, all of wKom survive her. They ane as follows: Harry Elwood, at home, Cecil Monroe, at home; Hazel May Stein, of Jasper county; Dorothy Beatrice, Ernest Lincoln, Vera, Grape Helen. The youngest, Helen, is four years of age. Mrs. Shumaker united with the Christian church in Jay county, Pleasant Hill. She has lived a very earnest and consistent Christian life and there are many who will mourn their loss. The family have the deepest sympathy of all her many friends, who have loved her and appreciated her worth. The funeral was held at the Christian church of this city Wednesday.
