Representative Wood Attended Republican State Conference.
Republicans who are to be members of the general assembly which will convene the first of the year met in Indianapolis Saturday in response to a request from State ' Chairman Hays. W. L. Wood, of | Parr, representative-elect of White ; and Jasper counties, was present. The republicans decided not to be obstructionists in legislation, that is, not to oppose measure# simply because they are democratic. Three important developments wee: ' ~ 1. To quite generally oppose the staewfde primary elecion law to which the democratic party standsl pledged. 2. Tiie republicans will accept the result of the last election as proof that the platform it advocated met general approval. It favored a constitutional convention. 3.
