CHRISTMAS TREES AT VARIOUS CHURCHES
Christian Sunday School Wednesday Others on Thursday Evening at 7:30. The Sunday Schools of Rensselaer are ’all preparing for the Christmas trees and entertainments. The Christian Sunday School will hold theirs on Wednesday evening; all others on Thursday evening. The programs are as. follows: CHRIOTIAN. A very beaiitiful cantata called ‘The Jolly Carpenters,” will be given Wednesday evening at 7:30 o’clock. The program is all in song and the children are being trained, by Dr. W. L. Myer, assisted by some of the teachers. A Christmas tree with presents for the children will be decorated and the presents arranged Wednesday.
METHODIOT. A Christmas tree’Thursday evening. The program will ibe miscellaneous with songs and recitations by the children. The tree will be decorated and, the presents placed on it Thursday. PRESBYTERIAN. The entertainment will be .held Thursday evening and a program of songs and recitations given. A Christmas tree will have the presents for the little folks. BAPTIST. The entertainment will be of a miscellaneous nature with songs and recitations. It will w held Thursday evennig at 7:30 and a tree will hold the presents for the children. CATHOLIC. An entertainment wiU be given Wednesday afternoon at’ the parochial 'school hall. Mrs. G. H. Chappell returned to Grant Park, 111., today, after a visit of several! days with her father, Sylvester Hatton, who is now somewhat improved over his condition of last week. Don’t put it off. Do it this very day. Get out the dolls, toys, etc., that will never again be used in your home and take them Tuesday afternoon to the court house to be given away by San'ka Claus to poor children. ;
