A cheek for sl\and the following letter was received today from Frank E. Lewis by the chairman of the Van Rensselaer Club “Good Fellow’s” committee The letter read: Kersey, Ina-, Dele. 16, 1914. Messrs. Healey, Leopold & Laßue. Good Fellow’s Christmas Movement Committee, Rensselaer. My Dear Sirs: /. 1 have just read—ttle article in Tuesday’s Republican rs the steps the Van Rensselaer Club are taking in raising funds for Christmas cheer, of the poor children and also the elderly ipoor of your city. This is certainly a Commendable step, and you are to be commended for your efforts in so worthy a' cause.
