Dr. Aaron Wood, of Lafayette, district superintendent of the M. E. church, who held quarterly conferences at Rensselaer and Barkley Sunday, was a caller at The RepubJican office this morning. Dr. Wood was the pastor of the Rensselaer Methodist church way back in the eighties and it will (be of interest to his old acquaintances and friends; especially those who have gone from Rensselaerx, and located in other parts of the world to know that he looks to'be in the very best of health and has retained the qualities of personality that made him one of the most popular and successful ministers the church hero had in the years of long ago. He is a brother of Henry Wood, of this city. -
