Many cities might well profit by the example set by Ishpeming, a city of about 13,000 people. The state law now in operation requires the board of education to employ a physical training director for the schools. The plan. Introduced by the association’s field secretary, Includes the employment of a permanent worker tq handle the physical training work in the schools and also take charge of the recreational activities of the community.
