It la said that the new homo of -Australia’s national parliament at the federal’ capital city of Canberra will be a "palace.” Provisions is being made in the new building for acocmmodating 300 members in the house of representatives, and 150 in the senate, ►The fact that women have the vote in Australia, and are eligible for election to the federal parliament, has not been overlooked. Thrlneans of access to the chambers are to be so designed that all members may be able io respond to a caH on three minutes* notice. Public accommodation will include reading rooms, studies, and correspondence rooms. So that members may obtain recreAtionT 14,000 square feet of space is being devoted 4© billiard and other rooms. Tor the official reporting of the doings of the parliament, about twenty rooms will be set apart. The building Is to cost $5,000,000.
