250 Attended the "I. U." Banquet at the Claypool.
The banquet given to the former Indiana University athletes at the 'Claypool hotel in Indianapolis Friday night was attended by 250, among them being H. W. Kiplinger and Moses Leopold. The occasion was the awarding of the letter āIā to a number of athletes who were instrumental in winning fame for the university in days before the custom of presenting the letters was established. Each of the old players present was given a small gold 'button shaped like a football or a baseball, according to the nature of the sport in which the person had indulged. Senator Shively made the Wards. He is one of the trustees of the university. Attorney-General Thoirias M. Honan w r as toastmaster. Kip and Mose remained over today to witness the Indiana-Ohio State, football game.
