Miss Cora Bruner is recovering from a severe case of the quinsy. Mrs. Laura B. Fate went to Indianapolis today to remain over Sunday. Mrs. Harve J. Robinson and son, Billie, went to Hammond today for a short visit with relatives. Walter Crampton returned to Chiafter a visit of several days with his uncle, C. MS. Prior. Mrs. (Monahan -and daughter went to Wellington, 111., yesterday, where Mrs. Monahan teaches school. Howard Clark and Harve Robinson went to Hammond today, where Howard will pitch ball tomorrow for the Hammond team.
Miss Gladys Grant and friend, Miss Marie Kepner, of Sheldon, 111., spent Wednesday and Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Warne, at Parr.
Mrs. W. L. Wortz, of Indianapolis, is visiting Mrs. R. B. Harris and Miss Millie Zumpe, of Indianapolis, who was enroute to Chicago, stopped off here from Thursday until Friday afternoon to visit Mrs. Wortz and Miss Mildred Harris.
In returning from Goodland hall game Dr. Schanlaub .drove past Deener’s Catholic church to see his sister who has been ill for a year and whom he had not seen for ten years. She was able to be up hut is in quite poor health.—Morocco Courier.
Miss Nell Rankin, of Muncie, who teaches school at Anderson, where Miss Elizabeth Hemphill also teaches, came yesterday to attend the funeral of iMiss Hemphill’s mother. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Benbow also came from Winamac and Mrs. iMollie Troxell and daughter, Elizabeth, came from Delphi. Mrs. Troxell is an aunt of Mrs. Hemphill.
