That
DON’T GO CRAZY; NO ROOM FOR YOU
Medical Superintendent at Longcliff Informs County Clerk That Men Can Not Be Taken.
Men should be very careful not to go crazy. ’ There is no room for them at-the asylum at Longcliffe, near Logansport. Dr. Fred W. Terflinger, medical superintendent, has written to the county clerks in northern Indiana that no males will be accepted there, owing to the present crowded conditions. The letter states that a new building in the course of construction will make it possible to change some of the ward dining rooms into dormitories. The change can not be completed, however, before next June or ,July, and it is probable that all male insane people will have to be kept in the county jails until that time.
