Mrs. George Platt Spent Day and Night in Jail.

Mrs. George Platt spent part of Thursday and that night in the county jail. aMrshal Shesler waae' asked to take charge of her after she had committed several acts which indicated either insanity or a fit of anger. She is said to have choked her baby and herself and to have gone on a tantrum . that made incarceration necessary: It is reported that Mrs. Platt has been carrying on a flirtation with an old flame in Danville, 111., and that her husband came into possession of a letter which created some jealousy. It was following this that Mrs. Platt engaged in the rampage which resulted in her being taken to jail. Today she had quieted down considerably and was released. Mrs Platt is a young woman whom George procured at Danvillfe, 111., several months ago.
