WAR RAGES ABOUT SEVERAL CITIES

Reported That Langwy Fort Has Fallen to Germans, Who Are Fighting Their Way to Paris.

The late dispatches from the European war state Longwy, a fortified French city, has fallen to the Germans, who continue to forge onward to Paris. The allied armies, however, are forged for a final effort to drive back the Kaiser's troops and a great battle is expected at any time. The Russians are credited with several local victories in Prussia and indications are that they will give the Germans there so much trouble that a larger army will be required to hold them in check. The Russians-are forging toward Berljh just as the Germans are toward Paris. The report several days ago that the forts at Namur had fallen to the Germans has been confirmed. The Japanese minister of justice Has announced that when KiaoChau is captured hostilities will ejease in China and Japanese seas *nd Japan, like the U. S., will be bnly a spectator.
