Jasper County Odd Fellows Will Hold Meeting Oct. 9th.
Representatives of the different Odd Fellows lodges of Jasper county met at Remington Thursday and formulated plans for a big county meeting to be held at Rem ington on October 9th. The meeting last year was held in Rensselaer. In making preparation for the meeting officers for the county association were elected as follows: GL L. McCurtain, of Parr, president. C. W. Harner, of Remington, vicepresident. ; Charles Simpson, of Rensselaer, secretary. James Britt, of Gifford, treasurer. Committees were appointed to arrange the program. Speakers of ability will be ’present and degree work will be performed by both the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs, who will hold their county meeting at the same time. The splendid success of th> meeting held-here last fall assures another big meeting at Remington. Delegates to the meeting at Remwere: Charles Simpson, Fred Tyler, Geo. H.
