If Western Canada land would, not with absolute certainty make the energetic worker of it independent in a few years, could we ever expect you to pay for your land and repay your loan of $2,000.00 at the same time? Yet though we give you twenty years' lb do this,' we confidently expeet that you will have your farm paid for and your loan repaid in a few years at most. This is the strongest proof we can possibly give that the lands of Western Canada must be all that we claim. If you receive the Loan, the Canadian Pacific will actually pay you wages, for making your improvements; that is, for all the work that you can do yourself and with your own equipment. The Loan would be expended under the direction of our agricultural experts and our builders, and in the breaking of the land and other farming operations, yourself and your family, your stock and equipment would be employed to the greatest possible extent.
