Lyman Hall is slowly improving. There came near being a fire on Front street Saturday night, caused by putting gasoline in the lamp in Barber’s restaurant, causing an explosion. No great damage was done, except that Mr. Barber got ■his hand pretty badly burned. Mrs. Mike Shehen and son, Robert, came Wednesday to visit her parents a few days. - There will be children’s day services immediately after Sunday School next Sunday. Isaac Kight has the largest crop of strawberries in this community.
