Democrats Renominate Hays for Representative.

The democrats of the state representative district composed of Jasper and White counties .nominated Captain Patriek Hays, of Idaville, the present incumbent. There was no opposition. Captain Hays is an old soldier and an excellent gentleman. Howard Brock Way, the prosecuting attorney of the judicial district composed of Carroll and White counties, was renominated. It was not the year for nominating a judge dn that circuit. White county democrats also held their convention, nominating the foltowing ticket: For coroner, Dr. Gable. Commissioner second district, Chas.vHufty. Commissioner third district, M. 8. Personett renominated over S. W. Myers, the vote being 164% to 35%. . * Assessor, Oliver Hanawalt. Surveyor, Paul Ward.
