Ladies Delightfully Entertained at Musical.
Between seventy-five and a hundred ladies were delightfully entertained Wednesday afternoon at the home Of Mrs. A P. Burton. Associated with her as hostesses were Mrs. G. H. Maines and Mrs. C. H. Tryon. Mrs. Clara E Hemingway, of Gary, who had been engaged to furnish the entertainment, did so in a most pleasing manner and guests were delighted with her reading and singing She also whistled a number of accompaniments to her piano selections. Mrs. Hemingway’s compositions are original and show a great amount of talent both in composition and rendition. Mrs; Hemingway was here a year ago when the tenth district federation of women’s chibs held their convention here and delivered a number of readings and musical nulhbers at that time and those who heard her were very glad of another opportunity to hear her.
