Kite Carried Boy Aloft.

A kite lifted a boy aloft at Rouchln near Lille, recently. Experiment* were being mad* with th* kit* when the anchor rope broke, and the boy, who was standing near, seized th* end of th* cord a* the kit* rose in th* air, in an attempt to hold it down. A* th* kit* lifted him off hi* foot ho seemed powerless to release his hold and was carried aloft, white hl* mother, who was present, shrieked and implored th* inventor to save her son. Th* kite rose quickly to a height of about fifty feet, with th* boy dangling at th* end of the cord and screaming tor help. Then suddenly ft dipped, and when it was at a height of about twenty feet the boy l*t go. Ha crashed heavily to the ground and was picked up suffering from mv«t* internal injurta*.
