New York, May 12.—Thomas A. Edison chews tobacco and smokes cigars, but he doesn’t like cigaret®. So, when he decided ito join Henry Ford, automobile manufacturer of Detroit, in making war on cigaret smoking, everybody wondered what weapon® he would invent for the war.
