Fred King Will Go Into Business at Columbia City.

Fred King, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. King, of this city, who has had general charge of the grounds at Winona Lake, and who purchased a cottage there last year at a cost of SI,OOO, has just closed a deal that looks like a splendid trade as ,wdß as being the means of placing Fired in business tor himself in a way that Should prove most satisfactory. Fred and a man named Stapton, the latter residing at Warsaw, secured in a trade the North Side Green house at Columbia City, each getting a half interest Fred put in his Winona cottage for his half and figures that he secured $2,200 value tor it in the trade. He wflH, after June Ist have entire charge of the greenhouse, which is quite a large plant consisting of eight greenhouses and a Cold storage plant tor cut flowers. He wiH remain at Winona until June Ist, putting out aM of the bedding plants. During this month the Columbia City business is being done under his direction by three men and a lady, requiring the services of that many employes to care tor its present business, Which Fred expects to materially increase when he takes charge.
