Waterbury Has Hard Job.

J. M. Waterbury, Jr., known as “Monty,” and recently elected captain of the American i>olo team to succeed Harry Paine Whitney, has a task before him to reorganize his cup defending squad. Whitney and Stoddard have retired, thus breaking up the big four. Waterbury will go to No. 3 position and send his brother up at No. 2. Reported Sale of Denver Club. Reports of the sale of the Denver baseball club will not down despite denials by James C. McGill and Edward W. Smith, who is the prospective buyer.
