James R. Guild Almost Sure Of Nomination for Congress.

Hon. James R. Guild, of Medaryville, and a native of Gillam township, is quite certain to receive the republican nomniation for congress when the 11th district convention is held at Logansport on May Sth. There are five or six candidates for the office but indications point to Mr. Guild as the most likely to receive the nomination and the most favorable to oppose Congressman Barnhart. Mr. Guild served with distinction in the state legislature and is a man of high ideals, clean fife and possessed with ideas of progressive legislation that will command the respect of those who really believe in the forward movement.
