George Ade, playwright and humorist, was at his home at Hazelden, when the news that his (father had died reached him, and accompanied by his brother, Joseph, of Brook, he went to Valparaiso, arriving there Tuesday night They were accompanied to Valparaiso by John Higgins, Isaac Smart and Bennet Lyons.
