New York Life Will Insure National Guardsmen at Old Bate. The New York Life Insurance Co. has issued a bulletin to agents to the effect that it will insure National Guardsmen without any advance in rates and a policy that is incontestable in view of the possibility of service in Mexico. Several guardsmen have recently talked about taking out insurance and the doubt existed whether companies would insure them. The New York Life agrees to take the risk.—M. E.
