The Decalogue teaches what evila are sins. God is Good Itself and the source of all good. There are civil good, moral good, and spiritual good. All religion has relation to the life, and the life of religion 1b to do good. . * 1 A man ought to shun evils as sins, and fight against them, as from himself. These goods follow In order; spiritual good is the highest, moral good Is the mediate, and civil good is the lcrwest. Civil good is that which a man does In conformity to civil law; by this good, and according to It, he is a citizen in the natural world. . v - ~ T, ' ' Moral good is that which a man does in conformity with spiritual law; and. by this good and according to it, he is a citizen in the spiritual world.
