Pete Henning Looks Good As Pitcher With Kansas City.
Lake County Star.. Monday’s Kansas City Post gave quite an account of a ball game between Kansas City and the Indianapolis team Of the Federal League last Sunday at Wichita Falls, Texas, where the two teams are in training. Pete Henning was in the box for Kansas City for the first five innings, and the newspaper account gives him much credit for his work. He held the opponents to two hits, with no runs, and made a good record with the bat. Henning is in line this year to make a great reputation for himself, and his friends hope he will be the leading pitcher for the Kansas City team.
