Watch Out for Fake Magazine Solicitors.

Fake solicitors for magazines are working cit,'es in northern Indiana and are apt to reach Rensselaer any day. At South Bend men have been canvassng for McCall’s magazine and they are said to be frauds. They have also been operating at Michigan City. There are honest solicitors some times, but it is impossible to judge between the honest and the dishonest ones. There is a safe plan and that is to order your magazin es from home dealers. Four young fellows were detained at Michigan City Wednesday. They proved to be all right, but they had followed a gang of fakers in several towns. They had failed to make any money and had to send home for cash to keep out of jail.
