REMINGTON TEACHERS ASKED TO RESIGN
Action Unexplained But Entire Corps Asked to Vacate Near End of School Year. Remington Press. The board of school trustees, through their superintendent, has asked for the resignation of each teacher and instructor now employed in the Ifcrirrngton sehools. We understand that all have done as requested and tendered their resignations and these have been accepted. Just what the board’s idea was in requiring them to resign when the end of school is so near and they had only to not renew their contract to get rid of any undesirables in the corps, we do not know, but it would look like they might have at least spared them the indignity of. bHng required to resign. There are possibly some in the list that the school would be just as well off without but there are others that it will be impossible to replace.
