Not Guilty.
The man had been accused of committing an annoyance by flashing a mirror In the eyes of passersby. “You are quite mistaken,” he said to the big policeman. “I haven’t any mirror. What these people saw was the reflection of my shining serge coat—l’m a -married man and the coat is four years old.”
And, turning hastily, he threw the dazzling reflection from hisjiack and elbows into the policeman’s dazzled eyes. And by the time the officer recovered he was well on his wayrCleveland Plain Dealer.
