Man and Wife Accused of Stealing Horse and Buggy.
Elmer Chapman and wife rented a horse rind buggy at Hammond last Saturday, stating that they intended to drive to Indiana Harbor. Instead they drove to Valparaiso, where they offered the rig for sale for $25. They were arrested, the owner of the rig notified and they are now in jail at Crown Point.
