E. E. EARLE ARRESTED AT TULSA, OKLA.

Former Deputy Game Warden Who Is Charged With v Forgery of Receipt Arrested Saturday. E. E. Earle, formerly a deputy game warden in this state, was arrested last Saturday at Tulsa, Okla., on a charge of forgery. He left this state in 1909 and a grand jury indicted Aim on a charge of forging a receipt for S2B. Mrs. Earle is also wanted on the charge of embezzlement, it being alleged that she illegally' yithheld $6,196 of public money. She was in charge of the fish and game warden’s office in Marion county from May 1, 1909, to Aug. 1, 1910. At that time the office was turned over to George W. Miles, but it is alleged that the funds were never turned over. Earle came to Rensselaer ffequently some eight or ten years ago and always put on a lot of official airs. He worked considerably with Constable Christie Vick, who was also a deputy game warden. Earle bad checks endorsed here on several occasions and we believe landed one or two persons who endorsed them. Squire S. C. Irwin also endorsed him on one occasion for about SSO, and thought he was going to lqse it for some time, but finally got his money.
