Miss Vere Cavinder Is on the sick list but is some improved at this writing. Mr, and Mrs. Jack Murphy, of Chicago, spent Saturday and Sunday with the latter’s sister, Mrs. J. S. Lakin. The wedding bells have again been -ringing to announce the marriage ofJ. N. Gunyon and Mrs.- Emma Schreeg. They will reside on the Wishard farm, northeast of Parr. Ed Lane has been a business visitor in town a couple of times this week. Roy Stephenson, who has been at home for a few days, left Sunday for Anderson, where he Is employed with the Rensselaer Dredging Co. Miss Luvla Gunyon. after a week's illness, is much improved and able to be teaching. There will be a box social given bjr the social committee of the Christian Endeavor for the benefit of that society at the school house on Friday night, March 6.
