LOWELL TRIMMED OUR BASKETBALL TEAM
Lake County Lads Who Were Defeated* Here Got It Back Tiies- — day Night—Score 22 to 20.
Lowell high school, which was defeated here by the score of 46 to 14 last Friday* night, gave our basketball lad 9 a surprise Tuesday night at their town when they took a more aggressive style of play and came out with the large end of the score, 22 to 20. Rensselaer led at the end of the first half, 10 to 8, and the lead was maintained until almost the last of the game, when Lowell dame up from behind and finished like a quarter horse. The Lowell baskets are said to be a foot higher than Rensselaer’s and this made accurate shooting difficult. The home lads scored as follows: Field baskets, Healey 5, Groom 2, Eigelsbach l; , ?foul baskets, Eigelsbach 4.
Rensselaer has -now scheduled a game with Medaryville to be played Friday night.
