Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Blacker have returned from ther Wedding trip. Mrs. D. C. Blacker, of Indianapolis, came Friday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. James Blacker. Mrs. Del Bowman and little son and Mrs. Mary Smith spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. E. Kennedy. . Mrs. Martha Bowman called on Mrs. R. E. Lucas Tuesdaiy afternoon. Miss Reva Rees spent Sunday with Miss Letha Rees. J. C. Tow is moving back near Newland. Wm. Whited and Sol Rees are building a five-room cottage tor T. M. Callahan. Jim Maladay moved to one of T. M. Callahan’s places. Mr. Oble, who has bought a farm near here, has bought a house in Newland and moved it onto his farm this week and is remodeling it. Mrs. D. D. Brown went to Illinois last week to visit relatives.
